I'm just wondering there has been some controversy on it.

They should have let the Kurds handle it.

It was a political stage show for the us public .It was just or anthing even in the ball park of justice . All these people listen to the propaganda our government puts out . Like its gospel . We put him into power and and supplied his military to fight Iran . Our government thought he was ok then .Just like we supported and supplied Ben Laden in to fight the Russians he was fine then also .The only way Sadam could have gotten any thing close to justice was by an internanional court .All these people saying how bad he was .He was charged with killing 148 people . About what was killed in Waco by our government .The people in charge of that ordeal were given promotions until the public was so outraged by killing women and children . People in the middle east have a differant culter and beliefs the we have .We lied about W.M.D. to invade .What a coincedence Iraq has some of the largest oil reserves in the middle east and Bushes are from Texas and are some of the largest stock holders in the petroleum industry . Sadam had schools ,electricity, hospitals and a stable society where people could shop and walk around in saftey with out being killed. What good have we done there Cost tax payers here that are struggling to get by trillions of dollars .Last I heard 12 billion had been lost and couldnt be found Some one stole 500,000 small arms from us that hasnt been recovered or found out who stole them . Its cost the lives of 3,000 Americans .We have killed I think 500,000 innocent civilians women and kids with bombs and mamed i dont know how many . The country is a complete ruins now with very little electric schools or enough hospitals .The people cant do anything without danger of being killed .Every country in the world almost, hates America and has now made our country less safe from terrorist .Most countries see Bush as the worst terroist in the world , and why wouldn't they .Which politicians can use saftey for us, as a tool to steal our rights freedom and liberty from our people .The people who held the court and judged Sadam was the people we put in control .Hypotheticaly do you think they could have found him innocent and let him walk out the door (not hardly) .By not having an international court the U.S. couldnt be found guilty of illegally invading the country on lies . If you dont like the truth you can tell more lies and put out more propaganda to cover it up .But it doesn't change it .It showed the world how little honor and integrity of the leaders of our country .To lie kill a 72 year old man the we felt threatened by .and call it justice so we could steal oil . Our citizens might swallow all the B.S. our government feeds us .But the rest of the world can see and know the truth .Wondering who will be next .

I haven't put a lot of thought into it. He was convicted by an Iraqi court and his sentence was carried out by Iraqis. The controversy was because someone snuck in a camera phone, and there were taunting comments. I think that I understand why those he oppressed might have wanted to have their say and get one final jab as they gloated over his death. Is it right? Probably not. Is it understandable? Absolutely! All I was interested in was that he is no longer a threat to his people and that justice was served.

I hated the guy. He was a bad soul to begin with and led a horrible life tormenting others as well as his own family. Do I think that it was a good idea to hang him on American soil? Heck no. The fact that the videos of his death were broadcasted all over like some black-market movie makes me sick. No good can come of this. I think a lot of people know that too. I think he should've rotted in jail for the rest of his days becoming someone's boyfriend.

I didn't think it mattered. The affect Saddam's death had on the world was minute. At this point he's just water under the bridge.

I don't think that what I think about it matters at all to anyone. He's dead; he's gone!

One thought, though, since you asked: I keep thinking about the old Iraqi man I saw interviewed last year. He said, "Under Saddam, Iraq was hell on earth; but now, with the Americans here...it's worse!"

Could have been handled better. But I like how fast it went.

We have this freak in Missouri that molested two boys one for four years the other four days. He should be put to death now. he was caught red handed.

I think Saddam contributed more to society than Anna Nicole Smith. His passing is tragic by comparison.

if you go back in questions a while, you might see that we have a regular vigilante mob on the board. They didn't give the guy anywhere near a fair trial, the entire thing was a miscarriage of justice.
