Whenever I'm feelin crazy, I respond to kooky forums like this one. It's my kinda gettin' crazy in my 40's. Whew, I'd not likely do this in my 30's or 20's! Ouch. Sorry. Go outside and hell and stuff. Then go interact with people. Doesn't matter who or where. Get offline, put on a crazy hat, (put a peacock feather in it) and pretend you're pimp that you know you can be. (this is called fixed role therapy - Please see George Kelly). It's high level psychotherapy from a personal construct psychologist. Yeeea boy!

I go to a karaoke bar with the girls, drink a few beers and sing like I'm a rock star. It usually opens the door to making other people talk. Socializing is the best way to lift my spirits.

Talk to married couples.

ha ha ha lol!

I know the feeling.... and sometimes it just stinks and it doesn't matter what anyone says. But other times you can make the most of it.
Have pets? Sometimes it's been me and my cat. Rent a movie, order take out, take a candle light bubble bath. Enjoy yourself... maybe call a girlfriend and chit chat for a while - have some laughs.

The grass may be greener on the other side but it still needs mowed!

Find some friends and kick it hard. If you show your friends love by expressing sincere interest them and being there for them then someone (maybe not even them) will be there for you. If you can love yourself by loving others then you may be less crazy when you are alone. In my experiences, the best lovers come when you are not looking for them.

Calm down, breath slowly but deeply. count to ten when you're doing your breathing. Then put yourself in a resting easygoing mode. Good enough, yes?
