Try some other lip balms that are herbal. I used to think Blistex was the best but there are some other kind that have herbal treatments in them that are even better. Also there's a lip balm called "lip vitamins". They're great too.

My neices did a makeover on me one day and used some Jessica Simpson lip gloss that did the same thing. I freaked out bc i'm allergic to everything and thought i was having an allergic reaction. Turns out, it was that lip plumping gloss. Is the stuff you're using like that? Maybe you are just more sensitive some days? That's the only thing i can think of. I'd just stop using it and the feeling should go away. If it keeps up, consider going to the dr or a dentist. I had wierd feelings like this when i had my wisdom teeth removed also. One of the teeth had its roots wrapped around a nerve and it got nicked and made my lip numb and tingling for a few weeks. I wonder if maybe an infection or something could cause the same reaction. Hope this helps. Just thought of something else- i use that burts bees stuff and it's minty so it makes my lips tingle. Does it tingle when it's not on your lips? If not, it may just be the menthol.

I used to love the hawaiian tropic white stuff that smelled like coconut (call me a poof) but now I like this blistex silver that is medicated and tingles when you put it on.
I live in Canada.. We all love blistex and chapstick
