In my town they are the only place to go to get a lot of things. I litterally have to shop there. My brother won't shop at walmart where he lives. Once he was at my house and he wanted to buy a suit for my son and a dress for my daughter for pictures. We went to every retail store in my town we couldn't find the clothes my children needed we had to buy it at walmart. This is just an example of how walmart operates. The town is too small for another large retail store and they lower the prices to choke out many of the smaller companies. There is no competition..

I think you, like I, tend towards circles of people that hate Wal-Mart, but that there are many more people that just don't care what shopping at Walmart means.

Wait, people hate walmart? What are you talking about...everyone shops at walmart. Well, not EVERYONE but enough people to make the corporation rich as hell and making it the worlds largest retailer. Its conveinient, has a better selection than most grocery stores.

because they hate the fact that Walmart comes in and take business away from smaller businesses and forces them to close down. Walmart also cause huge traffic problems where ever they open up new stores. Some people just simply do not like large corporations...

I hate Walmart. They Only hire idiots. They never have things in stock and they just suck. But yes I go there. Only because it's the only store in this town . Now, If we had a Target or some other place like that here. I would go there instead. But until then I have to go to Wally World.

The low prices keep people hooked even though they know the store is killing the market and has bad employment practices they can't help but shop there. I personally find it cheap and won't shop there but I have friends who just can't stop.

BC when you live in a rural area like I do then you really have no other choice unless you want to drive an hour to get to Target.

Average savings of consumer in community is $2,000.00 a year.

Small family shops can't compete, but they don't hire anybody, but family anyway.

It's all propaganda.
