Very for the last four administrations.
Isn't it strange that Teddy Roosevelt broke up trusts, outlawed interlocking directorates and banished monopolies and saved the country from utter collapse by the greedy of his time, and was a Republican?
Today we have monopolie in oil, the medical business and the insurance game, noncompetitive billion-dollar federal contracts with no supervision, with the blessing of what's left of Teddy's party.

Oh yes, our government is corrupt. But compared to many it is the cleanest game in the galaxy.
Look at Mexico, Philippians, Vietnam, Cambodia and the list literally goes for days. I have visited a number of these countries and I can assure you that while we may have a terrible government it is still the cleanest government this planet has ever seen. You can simply disappear in half the countries in the world and no one dares even report you missing.
Yep, we may have a terrible government, it is only surpassed in corruption by about 99.997% of the other governments.
IMO the biggest problem we have is a complete lack of statesmen. We have been stuck with politicians for centuries and I don't see any improvement on the horizon.

I do not feel that our government is corrupt, but they make many stupid mistakes because the politicians are always out for their own ideas of what makes this country move forward. Politicians try to do things that guarantee their re-election even if it isn't proper for the nation as a whole.

I thoroughly agree. that's confusing to distinguish between the common rhetoric flung via them and their genuine intentions. The rhetoric is aimed in direction of the common human beings. They comprehend the right physique language and facial expressions to apply with a view to look convincingly regarding a stance on a controversy. yet as I oftentimes say, as quickly as they walk the purple-easy district (A.ok.A. Lobbyist Row) and scent the eco-friendly of their wallet, they unexpectedly paintings for them (firms), no longer us.
