It's because we are in a gridlock right now. Not much WILL change. If anything does, it will help the republicans because it will be another terrorist attack and Republicans will dominate any day of the week on that issue. We're not so much concerned about the actual election as of yet; but more so about the primaries and who is announcing their candidacy.
Democrats are going to do all they can NOT to show their ultra-liberal view-points so that they seem as sane as possible. There have already been a few slip-ups, but nobody sees them because of the leftist media we have.
This next election is HUGE as it will determine the next step in the war on terror; do you want to leave and make ourselves vulnerable again, or do you want to stay and be on the offensive?

evil is best represented in the human situation in the form of unprovoked hatred against and coupled with an aggressive impulse to cause harm to another person or group. Such hatred can be aroused from within the individual or group through jealousy, wrong teachings or due to unexplained extra-personal forces.

Because America is about to turn in a new direction.
The 2006 vote created a new Congress. The current president is a corrupt lame duck. People are anticipating new leadership.

So much is in the air now. We know that Bush is not for anyone but Bush. I've heard speculation of a third term for him, Roosevelt did that. Since we are living in our parents houses, we are hearing all the propoganda for Bush & republicans. It is time for a change, but we may only get someone thats a little better than Bush.

To give all the candidates a chance to dig up as much dirt on each other as possible.
It's starting to get boring already...

It seems like it's starting earlier than ever! We were just saying tonight that the candidates are going to be exhausted by the time the real campaigning starts! (And I'm going to be sick of every one of them!)

Because people are so frustrated with the war in Iraq and Bush. We are hoping a new president will end the war.

unfortunately in the US, the almighty dollar is what influences the elections more than anything. there's got to be plenty of time for all the fat cats to get out their checkbooks and start swaying things in their favor.
