I usually take rainbows on an adult or teenager to be an indication of some kind of queer identity.

I don't really think a straight person wearing rainbows is misleading since rainbows are more of a political sign than a indication that the wearer wants to be picked up. A straight ally might wear rainbow gear in solidarity, for example.

The Rainbow is the symbol for the LGBTQ Community. If a straight person wears the rainbow they either support the LGBTQ community or just like the rainbow.

are you referring to gays in the military who where rainbow buttons so they don't have to say they are gay? I was a gay yesterday and i wore everything with a rainbow on it, and today i am straight and wearing black.
