Did you sign a paper that gives him permission to withhold the money ? If not then he may be(IS) in violation of the law. Contact the EEOC (Equel Employment Opertunities Commision) or get a lawyer or talk to the DA. Here that is called Grand theft and other names.

He has no right to do that. If he is insured the insurance company must pay unless they can prove you eere negligent and /or not licensed to drive the truck. Since you are a hired employee,it is the employer's responsibility to be insured. You could report the problem to the state attorney general ,to the state insurance dept., to the labor dept.,;and of course risk losing your job. He wants to get rid of you.

What your boss is doing is more than likely illegal. You need to talk to a lawyer ASAP. Find an employment lawyer. If you cannot afford one, then call your local legal aid -- they will at least be able to point you in the right direction.

You need an attorney!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fast !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He has no right to get the money from you. Insurance companies take care of that. You did not have to give him $ out of your pocket. Talk to an attorney and they will file a claim and take care of it for you. Good Luck.
