Africa is perfectly safe if you are careful. Ebola is only carried by infected animals, usually monkeys/baboons. If you are going to be in the bush, just be careful to avoid them. Malaria is carried by mosquitoes, so take malaria medication, cover up at night and sleep with a net, and you should be OK. HIV is a risk no matter which country you are in, so the rules of prevention are the same.
See your doctor to get the approprate shots before you go, be sensible when you are there and you will have no problems. Africa is wonderful. You must go!!!!!!

We love Africa. You will probably need to get some vaccinations. You may need to take malaria pills for prevention. But if you take care, you won't have any problems. We would recommend it!
