Which security site does it go to ? protectionpage.com?

(1) Get you self a good antivirus or a free one if your present anti virus is not protecting you .
(2) If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot do that now .Update it and then run it so it gets rid of all the spyware and trojans in safe mode
(3a) Do an online virus scan to check if you still have any other viruses in your computer. And let us know if the online virus scan still finds any virus or spyware .

You seem to still have some kind of nasty on your computer or at least some residue of one. First of all scan with all your security programs that do scans and see if they come up with any. Then do an online scan like Panda Activescan http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/ActiveScan.htm. If the problem still doesn't go away download HijackThis http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/programs.php#hijackthis
Unzip it to a permanent folder and do a system scan and save log file and then post it at one of these forums.

You have a malicious browser helper object (which won't be detected by most antivirus programs) that is redirecting your browser to another website. Try running a spyware scan

Here a some free programs that may work for you..
Spybot http://www.spybot.com
Adaware http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5

Sounds like you have a browser hijacker. Get yourself a program that will rid your PC of that crap. I use a program called Spyware Vanisher. Good luck!
