overweight people think about the health of their children? or are they just to lazy to cook healthy food? the reason i ask is i went to the movies and i seen an obese family and the mom was putting tons of butter on the popcorn for her and the family, this is disgusting. why can they not see that they need help and seek it. or at least think about what they are doing to their children? i remember when obese people were uncommon, that was about 20 years ago, what the hell happen to americans?

Whether conscious or not, it's a way of validating their own obesity. And, no, they don't seem to care about the health of their children or that their kids will be subject to all the same social stigmas, health, mental health and relationship issues that they were.

Pretty selfish, eh?
