Is there really a difference in their philosophies of government? Sharpton seems more honest in saying what he intends to do for/to this country. Disarm the police, disband the military and open up the prisons. Did anyone mention that he was clean and articulate?

lol,Not much of a difference., I have a little of respect for Al Sharpton, in the sense being he is the only one who has enough ballz to go on shows like Bill O Reilly, Hannity and Colmbs etc, and get asked tough questions, instead of the powder puff ones and actually debates.Unlike Jesse Jackson,Obama, Hillary,Bill,Kerry or Pelosi or 100 different others who runs away from shows like that, because they KNOW they are going to get hit with tough questions....Don't get me wrong, still think the guy is nuts, but least he is a nut who isn't a complete coward..

This is the problem with non-informed persons who ask a question and answer the question in the same statement. It is easy to dismiss Sharpton into three "fear tactic" categories and lump other Black political candidates (i.e. Obama) into the same field without getting to know their platforms. This why we as Americans are in the "international" mess that we are in. I am reasonably sure Sharpton does not want to disarm the police, disband the military and open-up the prisons. He probably wants to disarm certain police precincts that have a lot of police butality complaints and re-examine some black prisoners that have been falsely accused. When it comes to Obama, you can discern some of political views from his book the AUDACITY OF HOPE. You should read it and have actual and factual information before "spoutting" the "crap" that you do.

Definitely Obama...Although he hasn't disclosed his platforms yet I think he is very intelligent and knows things like disarming the police and opening up the prisons is not good for society as a whole and he would never support those things...I personally am voting for Hiliary but if she wasnt around It would be Obama

El Cabo, you haven't been paying attention if you think Obama and Sharpton are indistinguishable.

That said, I think it's a bit early to sign on for Obama but I'm never going to back Sharpton.

Obama wouldn't pull a Tawana Brawley charade. Obama is articulate and intelligent but in another 4 years he would be a heck of a candidate. I think he is running to early.

You are the 1st person I have ever heard call Sharpton clean. Since Obama's philosophy is a secret, even to him, It's hard to compare the 2.

Neither. Sharpton has never been worth anything to this country or his constituents. Well, I guess that goes for Obama too. God Bless you.

If we paint Bush or any repulsive candidates with the same demented brush you used on brother Al, they are in favor of genocide, slavery, torture and child rape.

Afraid the clean and articulate doesn't apply in that case though.

Is there really any difference between the bush-babies and the nazis?
