You can either go into your control panel and enter the sound settings, where you can find your systems hardware for the sound device, and/or you can go to the 'start' menu, go to 'run,' and type: dxdiag There, you can find all the Direct X software and the associated devices that go along with Direct X, which is by Microsoft. You sound de3vices and software and drivers for your sound capability should be in there also. Hope that this helps! Later!
