Their indiscretions were not uncovered or exposed on web sites, web blogs, op-blogs, fancy film productions, conspiracy theorists or rumors - they were exposed by valid and verifiable facts, by journalists, the news media, independent reporters and watch dog groups. Capital Hill is under a 24/7 microscope.
Now consider the literally hundreds of people who would necessarily have to be directly involved with a cover up as extensive and complex as the events of 9/11.

well... I'll play along for a moment...
frankly... I think that if it was proven true... the media would be the least of anyone's worries and the government would be by far the one we would be worried about...
I mean, I don't know exactly what would happen, but it would probably border on a revolution... it would be insanity...
wondering about the media in a situation like that is a bit like worrying about how cold the water is when a shark is chasing you... that particular worry probably wouldn't be very high on your priorities list...
but, I don't really believe the government did it, so it's all kind of moot...

Why blame the media? What reason would they have to cover anything up? If there was indeed a cover-up, it would come from the highest part of the government, not the media, & the media would be all over that story.

The media jumps on stories before they even have a source, if this conspiracy theory had even a shred of plausibility the barrage of news coverage would still be on.

Nothing would happen.Exactly like the case of Iraq when media and the US administration lied for More than 10 years when they claimed Iraq has WMD that can destroy the entire world! .According to this false WMD Iraq was destroyed and after that it was "discovered " Iraq has no WMD ,but nothing serous happened because the media which is controlled by the Zionists is able to fix any mistake.
