Hmm, interesting. Whatever knows fear, burns at the Man-Things touch… but Hal Jordan was chosen because he was honest and because he was a man without fear. (Long before, may I add, a certain other comic book company came out with a similar hero who can’t hear. I mean, see.)

Okay, and the Power Ring has no effect on cowards, because, as everybody knows, they’re yellow!

And you DID stipulate Hal Jordan, not Green Lantern. So he doesn’t have his ring. But he was fearless before he had his ring. So, that shouldn’t make any difference. I don’t really see how they would come into conflict, but I think that Hal would keep his cool and not panic. What would Manny do to him, anyway…? I think Hal wins.

If I recall correctly, Man Thing doesn't have any distance attacks. Advantage to Hal Jordan who can dredge up all sorts of things to blast, imprison, etc. MT with his power ring at distance.

eco-friendly Lantern wins. heavily, the fairway Lantern ring is the most precious weapon in the DC universe, it would take a cosmic potential endowed hero (Like Silver Surfer) from the ask your self universe to face a powerfuble eco-friendly Lantern.
