I don't think they are ready for someone to be sworn into office, and have his full name be read, and have his middle name be Hussein.

I would hope that the minority status is not even a passing thought
in the process of choosing a president.
The President of the United States is an top excutive office of
the Nation, His heritage should not directly effect decisions
I think in the past we have looked for a president to have too much of agenda when he runs for office.
Maybe the agenda belong in congress and the president should follow the construc of the consitution and direct the management of the goverment operations

This was a hard one to answer at first, but the news of his name was revealed. Many people say that it doesn't matter, but when it comes time to go to the polls, they'll vote for the other guy. America is ready for a minority president, but the people within are the one's who aren't quite ready to give someone that chance.

i can not see the form you assume respectful solutions right here, being which you in basic terms observed as me a racist for helping Senator Obama. to respond to your question, i think of that Obama nonetheless has a physically powerful risk of thrashing McCain if a million. The Democrats provides up whaling on one yet another and decide a candidate as quickly via fact the primaries end, and 2. they might effectively paint McCain as an insincere "maverick" who's all too prepared to proceed the fast-sighted and unfavorable economic and distant places regulations of the Bush administration. in the event that they might't do the two those issues, and particularly quickly, it appears that evidently good for McCain. Do undergo in suggestions, although, that would desire to Iraq land the economic device seem not greater effective in 5 - 6 months, McCain's activity turns into that lots greater durable. Ron Paul has no risk. If he chooses to proceed to be on the national poll, somewhat via fact the Libertarian candidate, he hurts McCain.

I think that will depend on what that person is choosing to support or not support. I don't care what they look like as long as they are there for the good of the country, and I hope that no one is going to vote for someone JUST because they are a minority.

I wish they would drop the word "minority" from the English language. Who among us is a minority.
To me that means that someone is "less " than anyone else. I think that we are all equal.
How can someone say that a woman is a "minority", or an African is a "minority". I truly do not understand what give anyone to classify someone as a "minority". Thank you very much!!!

What difference does it make? We need someone who is intelligent, honest, cares about hard working Americian, and has some experience. We already have a mentally slow person in the White House. Isn't that a minority?

I don't think America as a nation is ready to see a minorty as President.
And what's so funny is that a lot of the people who say yes will vote for somebody else other than that person.

I will not vote for any white male who wants more of my money, rights and property.
If, on the other hand, a talking horse promised to put the USA under the rule of law...the US Constitution as written, for example, then it'd get my vote.
The question is dumb. We need to think better than this.
