Right now, I am apart of quite a few clubs in my school, but I'm not sure whether I should be. This is because I've been hearing people say that it's better to be apart of 2 or 3 clubs to show your interest in those few. I also started 1 club and plan on starting more. If you have any suggestion on which clubs the Ivy league schools may like to see, please feel free to share.

There is no real problem in being part of many clubs, but you have to make sure that you are very involved in every single one of them. Rather than showing that you are interested in many different things and that you are well-rounded, you have to prove your effort and committment. If you don't feel like you can keep up with all of them or you don't have a particular reason to be in a club, just drop it. Then concentrate on a fewer number of clubs and channel your energy into those few. It will look much better that you took active participation in a few rather than being all over the place.

Participating in these clubs will certainly look good in terms of getting accepted in the National Honor Society which colleges love, if you're an active member in all these clubs you're in and still maintaining at least a 3.7 GPA then continue what you're doing, if your GPA is much lower than that colleges will see you as someone who doesn't manage their time well.

It is best to be in as many clubs as you are interested in and as muhc as you can handle. Don't take on too much at a time. Also get some volunteer work in there and at least some part-time job experiance.

I think your level of involvement is more important than the number of clubs. Run for office, chair a committee, spearhead a project. To have quality involvement and maintain grades, you probably must be in fewer.

depends on your availability. if you have the time, be in as many clubs as you can, though it sounds like you are quite busy starting them, which means you are probably very busy keeping them going. looks good on your college apps also.
