I have a 110g tank and I put 2 Heniochus Butterfly and my sailfin started attacking them so I took the Sailfin out of my tank to a quarantine tank. How long should I keep him there so he will not be as aggressive

also, you might want to add food, or turn the lights out. food allows them to focus "attacking" energy on something else. and lights out, lets the fish go to their respective homes in the tank since the sailfin will officially be new to the tank.....even though it was his tank before.

long enough to let the butterflys establish themselves. exactly how long i really don't know.... it will vary. you might want to rearrange the tank before you reintrodue the tang to the butterflys. when you do put the tang in make sure to keep your eye on it so you can be ready to remove him if necessary.
