Don't get my wrong, I love "the now" but for some reason I started to think about life in the 1980s!! It was fun going to the clubs dancing all night to all that fun music, wearing those crazy clothes, and the hours I spent on my hair was nuts!!

I liked the 80s up until around 1983. I couldn't stand synth-pop or mall culture, so as the 80s progressed I lost interest. Looking back now I quite like the music of the early 80s in the US/UK, and the music of Japan/Taiwan in the later 80s.

I wasn't even alive then, but I seriously think that I should have been. I love everything about the 80s... Too bad my mom didn't keep anything. But I'll go to the Thrift store just hoping I'll find some wicked off the shoulder sweatshirt or something... The whole era was the greatest.

I loved wearing big sweaters with shoulder pads! They balanced out my hips.

I enjoyed the freedom that seemed to come with that time in my life... young adulthood without responsibility.

We spent so much time on our hair back then -- but we had the time, because we didn't have cell phones and technology. I really don't miss the high maintenance hair.

i miss the 80's. there was a time i was a little embarassed to be a product of the 80's, but as i am maturing and aging, i am proud that i was a part of it. especially when i watch some of the older movies and tv shows from way back when. my favorite was the flock of seagulls haircut.

I graduated high school in 1989, and I miss it all! Please, Marty McFly, steal Doc's Delorean time machine, fire up the flux capacitor, and take me to the mall, circa 1986. I'll be the one in the pinstriped jeans with the HUGE hair!
