A left handed pitcher at Yankee Stadium always has great success. The Yankees will get him sooner or later.

If Dontrelle Willis is allowed to walk, the New York Yankees definitely have to be at the top of the list.
But if the Marlins decide to trade him in the midseason, the St. Louis Cardinals have to be considered a major contender. Walt Jocketty is a great man at making the trades needed. The Cardinals aren't very deep in talent, but they could pull this trick out of a hat. I mean, how in the heck did they win the World Series?!

Be careful what you ask for because you might get it. The Yankees are in a great position to get Willis now. They have young arms and Melky Cabrera that may sway the Marlins front office. I would really like the Yanks to keep Cabrera as the sky's the limit on his talent. National League pitchers traditionally don't do well in the transition to the American league. I would hope that we think about it.

I would guess the Marlins will trade him within a year or two. They seem to do that when they get a great player, but they always come back strong. they have a strong front office ethat is handcuffed by financial restraints.
I bet a big market team will land him. I have heard a lot about the Mets wanting him. i have to believe that the Cubs are still kicking themselves for trading him too, and may put a package togther for him if they have injuries or ineffectiveness this year. I am a Twins fan and would love to see us get him, but spending money is not really our style...

you need to assert that about any pitcher who isn't doing solid yet can swing the stick. the base line is that pitchers do not pitch to pitchers like they might hitters. Plus, that is compared to Rick Ankiel grow to be the mind-blowing pitcher. D-prepare grow to be in the Cy youthful race basically many years in the past! there are dissimilar undesirable pitchers who can hit, and there are dissimilar solid ones. as an get mutually, Micah Owings had a walk-off for the D-Backs very last season. Jason Marquis hit a grand slam! on the different hand, CC Sabathia, Carlos Zambrano, and Johan Santana can swing the stick. Felix Hernandez hit a grand slam off of Johan! in the top, that is not any longer basically undesirable pitchers that are solid hitters. And undesirable pitchers can get more beneficial advantageous.

its going to be somewhere will a lot of farm players. the marlins aren't giving him up for anything but about 3 prospects. if i had to guess, I'm saying the D-Backs or Angels. they have the most quality players in their systems.

...he almost ended up in JAIL, DUI arrest !! But, he is still with the Marlins. He probably will be traded mid season, especially if the Marlins are not competitive.....(again).
