Not in these ways, but I once dated and lived with a b-f for a little over two years. One day he said he was going out of town overnight and he didn't come home for three days. I eventually got ahold of him. He was in town at his dads' house and he said things just weren't going to work out. So basically, he just left and broke up with me and didn't bother to tell me until I tracked him down. And here I had been worried about him for those few days. What a jerk. Funny thing is, we stayed friends and still are to this day and that was 7 years ago.

I have been dumped over the phone before. It was very mean actually..because at the time i was only 14, he was 18..and he told me that his parents didn't approve of our age gap and if he continued seeing me, his parents would kick him out of the house. Turns out, the next day I saw him walking home with another chick under his arm :( broke my heart..he was my childhood crush and the boy next door since I was 5! I had a crush on him since I first saw him...but I got over it :) I have a wonderful man now.

Yup, he had a friend look for me in class. The idiot then proceeded to yell across the room and tell me that "soandso is breaking up with you, I am telling you for him." So Jr. high - get this - it was junior year of college. What a loser!

Once. She got her best friend to tell my best friend to tell me. My buddy told me what happened and I was more upset about how she did it rather than why. I got over it pretty fast as anyone who would do that kind of thing, isn't worth my respect or even acknowledgment.

E. A letter. It was delivered by the brother of a friend because she was in the same class as my friend's brother.
