I knew that would catch your attension..............Well, it all started out 3 years ago when me and my brother were jumping off of swings. Yeah I know pretty dumb. But I did it and landed on the side of my foot and colapsed. Well, I couldn't walk on it for like... a week. In total it hurt for 1 year. I was in a different country and/or contenent and didn't go to the doctor. Pretty dumb also. Well, after that it hurt whenever I just hurt it alittle it would hurt a lot. I'm going to the doctor but I have 2 wait for my mom to get back from a trip. What does it sound like 2 u? do u think the doctor will splint it? Phisical tharapy? Surgery?

Also what can I do right now 2 stabalize it till she comes back? I have a brace thing and ace wrap should I use that? I can see now that rest wont help because this injury was 3 years ago....

You should ask your mother to see your doctor immediately.

I injured my hip during childbirth and it hurt (on and off) for about a year. The doctors couldn't do anything for it and it eventually went away on it's own. I suspect you have a similar problem and that the docs will advise you to just take it easy on your foot for a while. I doubt they will recommend surgery, maybe some sort of physical therapy.

Until you can go to the doctor, wrap it up, and keep off of it as much as you can. You're only 12, right? Didn't your mom leave you with a responsible adult? Surely someone can take you to the doctor asap. You really should go soon, even though I think it may be nothing, it also may be something that needs to be addressed right away. Call your mom if you can and tell her you're in pain and need to go to the doctor as soon as possible.

tough one! hmm. It sounds like you may have pulled or torn a muscle in your foot the reason why it hurts so much. You may have cracked a bone in your foot. There usually isnt a whole lot you can do about that except wait for it to heal. You do need to wrap your foot and put ice packages on it. You should take some homeopathics for the pain until you see a doctor so that what you take wont coincide with what they prescribe.

Wrap an ace rap around it, and take some tylenol or ibprofen also. It dosent sound like its broken, so the doctor probably wont do much...maybe give you some crutches...good luck :)
