Did you know that it has been proved that vegetarians actually live on average of 7 years longer than non-vegetarians? Makes me want to be one.

I was raised vegetarian and then vegan for a while. Now as an adult I pretty much hate meat, but will eat some. I totally respect vegetarians.

i think of maximum vegetarians see it as a private decision, yet i think of fairly some that relies upon on why they're vegetarian interior the 1st place. i'm a vegetarian for wellbeing motives, and that's my decision. i do no longer chastise non-vegetarians for ingesting meat any greater than I chastise different vegetarians who drink comfortable beverages. that's not solid for them, besides the undeniable fact that it is likewise no longer my decision. some radical vegetarians do choose people who do no longer make a similar decision. i've got by no potential understood this via fact a) fairly some the vegetarians i comprehend grew up ingesting meat and made their decision later in existence and b) you attraction to greater flies (on your way of thinking) with honey than with vinegar. in case you act like a loopy, indignant man or woman, you're unlikely to earn somebody else's understand and admiration, and you certainly won't get them to help your reason.

I can't eat meat for medical reasons and I've found that if I dare tell people I don't eat meat, their attitude changes. Yeah, I wonder why? But I still consider myself a carnivore, therefore, I don't have the mentality of some vegies that won't eat meat because it's sooooo cruel yet wear leather, suede and such.

I think it's OK but I think it's hard how they can stick with not eating meat. Just like people can't stick with diets too well. I kind of admire vegetarians.

I admire them actually....my daughter is a vegetarian...but I was told, now remember this is hearsay, but I do know her, that she was spotted at Taco Bell....which I laughed and it really didn't surprise me. I am more and more using Firm Tofu bathed in a teriyaki marinade and it REALLY tastes like a delicious cut of filet mignon....we all get by...and i have found that Tofu is a wealth of proteins that can be used in myriad ways and it is far better for you. To top that off, you can have twice the amount of Tofu in weight than meat...and you are making yourself healthy. people don't believe it until I stir fry it up!
Bon Apetit!!!

I'm a vegetarian but a lot of people think I'm weird for being one. And worst of all, they always ask me a thousand questions about it, so I have to answer the same questions over and over again. I'm not giving up though. I'll make that sacrifice for the animals.

I think they really are trying hard for that..haha..anyway,I think it's good being a vegetarian because you can reduce the risks of heart failures. I even tried being one, but i can't help it... I just love meat!

To me, it depends on the specific vegetarian
For instance, I know one vegetarian whose ultra strict vegetarian diet leaves him greatly lacking in energy, but that's just him
For vegetarians who love to cook vegetarian and know how to get enough protein into their diet without meat, that's fine.

They probably think that they are silly because meat gives you all the protein you need
