Does anyone know the square root of 1681? I need this for homework, thanks.

Before giving the wrong answer, I need to know the answer when you simplify 1681. It's to hard for me and I just learned about the Pythagorean theorem.

First you can estimate that 40x40 = 1600, so it will be slightly more than 40 squared.

The numbers that you can square and get that last number of '1' are '1' and '9.' 41 seems to be a good answer, and when you check it - bonza - that is the square root of 1681.
