Your "toy" Furby may actually be one of 7,000 that Tiger Electronics accidently crafted on a cursed Indian Burial Ground in 2002. I advise you destroy it, preferably with a device such as a chainsaw that could inflict heavy damage to the Furby. Be careful!

Hmm... I would cover it in gasoline and set it on fire. I would then say 'Ha! watch me sleep now!'.
You will either have to convince your son that the furby was evil and needed destroying or you need to get one that is identical to replace the torched one with; perhaps the new one will not become posessed :).

Throw it in the freezer to teach it a lesson!
If that doesn't work then run it over repeatedly with your car.
See what happens when you get it a furby of the opposite sex too!
That will teach it a lesson for watching you while you sleep!

put aluminum foil around it, and stick it on the microwave for a few hours, or until the microwave blows.. trust me, that will stop all plots againts you.
