If she likes you, then why would she have dumped you?
But lets say that she does still like you, the obstacle that you are facing is making yourself seem better than Jacob. If she realizes that you are the better catch, then she will come back. Or get her jealous! Go out with another girl. But this could also backfire. :D
Or you could just tell her that you want her back.

I think by being her friend you'll have your best shot. It make take a while but by being there for her no matter what she will one day realize that your love for her is unconditional. Making her jealous is childish and immature, it also says that your happiness is more important than hers. If you truly love her be her friend and when this relationship ends you as her friend can be there for her and she will notice who never left her.

this may sound really stupid but, bring up old times and how much fun you guys had and maby ask her out, JUST AS FRIENDS! and talk about her new guy and how they are doing and dont have a jelous tone or ask if he does this or that like you did just calmly and cooly talk and btw dont rush into that convo GRADUALLY slip into the convo and if that doesnt work then just ask her what that guy has that you dont. well thats bout all i got but dont make her jelous by goin out with another chick or nthing thats stupid.
