How do so many smart, intelligent, drug free people never make a name for themselves. Then seemingly stupid, addled brained drug addicts like rock stars produce great songs, interesting TV shows, and make idelible marks on society time after time?

It might not seem fair, that people like that are famous. But let's face It: I've yet to meet one of those so called famous people who are really happy with their lives. It's not all that hard to become famous, It's the way you deal with all that fame. Most of them just can't handle the fact that they are famous and that's why 9 out of 10 In my opinion end up using drugs or drown their selves In alcohol. Even their relationships always end up In divorce or worse. That's why I'm happy with the way I am and the way I live my life. Even If I were famous I wouldn't change the way I am.

Yes.
After all, she was the one you took off her clothes and posed for Playboy and she was the one you married a millionaire and she was the one who made all those comercials and public appearances, so; she is the one who gets to be famous, not some nobody who did nothing for no one.
It is called talent and good looks.
That is why so many seemingly stupid individuals become famous, and with the fame comes the drugs and the scandals.
Don't assume the so-called smart people aren't doing the drugs as well. Betty Ford is filled with people who took something to cope with the stress of success, and I can think of countless nobodys who do or have done drugs at some point in their lives if only to fit in.
The thing about fame is you have to want it bad enough to put up with the scrutiny that goes along with having fame and it is that scrutiny that exposes who did what with whom and took what for some reason or another.
Is it fair that we know so much about her?
Probably not, but; we do.

For lack of a better example, addled brained drug addicts become drug addicts because they are open to new experiences and expanding their minds. They tend to take more risks. This may be why they make great music and tv shows. Because in the end, it's the experimental and inquisitive nature of these people that makes them famous. Whereas smart, intelligent, drug free people (not always-to avoid any logical fallacies) but many times like to stick to a more comfortable and familiar "path" and tend to not take as many risks.

trust me they don't make indellible marks on society or history, those kind of people were intelligent hard workers like Abe Lincoln or a General Patton, but everybody in show business with the exception of perhaps Elvis Presley [and mabey the Beatles] will be forgotten in 100 years. Anna Nicole, poor girl, wasn't even a flash in the pan. Great T.V. shows ? boy you are easy to please,

If you really were smart you wouldn't want to become famous.
Most intelligent people like to stay out of the limelight.
And I don't think it's fair that Anna Nicole Smith became famous for the reasons she did.
This society really needs less people like Anna Nicole.

An indelible mark on society? I don't think so. Twenty years from now she will be the answer to a Trivial Pursuit question, if that game is still around. And otherwise, no one will remember her name, except maybe for the poor child she left behind.

1) There is no Justice.
2) Fair is fair only with money behind it.

You know, I agree. What I don't get is why sweet, young actors and actresses who have like, the best life, decide to do drugs and stuff. Like Lindsay Lohan, she started doing drugs. She was like the one celeb. that I though would never do that kind of stuff! Am I right?!?!?!

regular people don't want to be reminded the are not smart but they love stupid people because they feel better. Why do you think there is only 6 science channels and 100's of sport and new and entertainment channels

That's just it-they're smart, intelligent and drug free they don't need to drop out of high school and strip.
