I really can't remember much of the lyrics. It was about a couple who were deserting everything of theirs....maybe their kids too....and they were walking somewhere? Something like, 'they didn't know where they were going" but they keep walking. It's driving me crazy that I can remember. If you can remember this on so little information, I'll be impressed. :) And grateful! Thanks.

"The Way" by Fastball.
Interesting story - Fastball wrote about it after reading a story about a (man and a woman presumably old) who were not healthy and did not care to live anymore. They got lost on their way to a relatives house and they just decided to walk until they couldn't walk anymore. They were found dead. The whole story is on Wiki I think.

I think the song you're thinking of is "The Way" by Fastball. It came out around 1998.
