I've been writing poetry since I was a sophomore in highschool (this translates to about 25 years). Anywho; I recently decided to organize my poems. Simply, I typed them into a Word file and copied them all to a cd. This way I can copy one if I choose to send it to a contest or just give to somebody. Plus, you can copy them to a cd and send it to yourself. Do not open the package you use and place it into a safe deposit box. This is known as the "poor person's copyright". The package is dated. Hope this helps.

Well, you could take the poetry and type it all up and put it in groups by subjects. Example: Death, Love, Nature...you could put them on discs under the different subjects. If you don't want to type them up then you can get a folder and separate it the same way with subject labels.

Good Luck. :)

I use a Big Scrapbook and either glue, staple, or paperclip my random poetry in it.
I don't know if that would be the best but that's what I do.
