The other question and please give me a feed back.

I used to have one of my friends give me a hair cut. Today, I really need a hair cut and happened to hang around at Wal-Mart to wait for my truck to be ready at Sears. I asked the girl how much she will charge me to trim my hair. She said $12.50. I thought that was good because I paid my friend more than that, plus I tip her with a cooked dinner every time she gave me a hair cut. I told the girl to not put anything in my hair, just cut it. I shampoo my hair every morning so she does not need to shampoo or anything to my hair. After she trim my hair, she ask me if I want her to blow my hair. I told her yes, just where all the hair falling at. It was all over the top of me. She said wait I want to put something in your hair before I blow it. She put a small amount of form thing in, and I let her blow it about a second. I said that good enough because I don’t like to blow my hair dry. I went at the front to pay, she said $15.50. I said I thought you said $12.50. She said I blow your hair with a hair cut. I still gave her tips and thinking this is not right. I am not a cheaply, but didn’t feel good afterward even $15.50 plus tips for a hair cut is very cheap already.

Do you think this is right? Please give me a feed back.

If the price for hair cut and blow dry are not prominently displayed, I'd complain with the manager. The point is not the $3 but to make it right for you and all other customers.

That is common. The common thing is to get you in the chair and then sell the extras. Very similar to Lube shops for cars. They get you in for the Lube and Oil and then they sell you an air filter and brake fluid.
Many salons now want to charge everything separate, or ale carte. That means your haircut was one price, the blow dry another, and if they add any thing to your hair it can be even more. So expect to pay for foam, gel, shampoo or any product they use.
Tips are given only when you are happy with their work. It is not mandatory and should be reserved for the stylist that give you a nice cut, watching detail, nice to you, polite, asking your opinion and showing you your cut before she send you away. And just because it is in Walmart, it does not mean it will be cheap. Walmart leases out space to these businesses and they take a cut of their gross dollars.
Find someone you like and stick with them.

I have never been charged to have my wet hair blown dry not to mention having the hair blown off of me. However, you were at Walmart and anything can happen there. If you go back, be sure to ask for all the costs. LOL
