Just cuz she had a bladder infection doesn't mean she was cheating on you..... certain foods/drinks can trigger a bladder infection if you are prone to them (i know) but I would say if sex was the reason you'd get within a day or so, it wouldn't be 2 weeks later...... you need to talk to her and find out what's going on, if anything, to put your mind at ease....

Bladder infection doesnt always mean because of sex. There is couple reasons maybe some virus, hygiene or residual urine. If she says because of sex, she should have peed after sex. Since urine is sterile, doing that would decrease her chance of getting an infection. There is no TIME really in between because it really depends where she actually get the infection. UTI or urinary tract infection is different with bladder infection. Its affect the urethra and its painful to void.
What i think she may had some UTI and in turn got worse and went to the bladder.
If you think she is cheating...maybe you should suggest to her to get tested for STD's. Sometimes, even though they caught this virus or bacteria for long time...the symptoms might only appear later on...even months or a year.. Its quite rare but it happens..
I suggest you approach her rather than thinking of cheating...
its not ideal to assume things

You can get a urinary tract irritation within a few hours. If left untreated, that can turn into a urinary tract infection by the next day. If THAT is left untreated, it can turn into a bladder infection within 24 hours. From THERE, it can become a kidney infection.

It can ALL be avoided by your girlfriend peeing before and after sex AND washing that area before and after. Also, avoid prolonged sex without sufficient lubrication.

She may very well be prone to them. Woman's bodies are made with very short urethras (the tube the pee comes out of). Because they are so short, the bladder and kidneys can get infected really quickly.

On another note: perhaps, if you're that concerned about her cheating on you, you shouldn't be having sex so soon in the relationship......

It is wise to go to the bathroom after having sex to avoid an infection. My doctor has always told me that because I am prone to having them. Sex isn't the only thing that can cause them. Things like bubble baths, anything but cotton underwear, feminine products and lubrication can also trigger an infection. I would say most definitely she is not cheating on you! Symptoms usually appear shortly after wards but you may not become aware of them until much later. Just make sure she goes to the bathroom right after having sex and avoid all the other infection causing things I listed. I think she's being honest!

Cystitis can occur very soon after intercourse. All it takes is for bacteria to be transferred to the urethra, from the surrounding areas. It is doubtful that she would be able to go two weeks without treatment...it would just be too painful. It is possible, however, that she would still be on antibiotics at the end of the two week period. The almost certain way to prevent contracting cystitis is for both of you to assume the responsibility for being scrupulously clean prior to intercourse, and avoid anal sex.

why does she get a bladder infection from having sex?...it doesn't matter if you have sex or not, bladder infections happen for a different reason...she's not cheating on you..you've just been misinformed :) I forgive you.
