An interesting statistical study came out recently that showed without doubt that the states in the USA which had the highest percent of church attendance had the lowest educational levels and the highest murder rates. The states with the lowest church attendance had among the highest educational achievement and the lowest murder rates.

At first I was a little skeptical, but its easy to check out yourself. I think that says a lot about how religion contributes to our community.
