Talk about anything that really interests YOU!

Got it!

Prepare for your "a public speaking" this doesn't mean a lecture!

Prepare very well. Anticipate any risky parts of your dissertation with puns and humour. For example if you are talking about engines refer to that "cackey stuff you can't get your clothes" instead of "break oil". the stinky stuff that we shouldn't really be using because it wrecks the environment. The first "Brrrrr!" from an engine that can only sound like a you know what. (Keep it not too rude though!)

Involve your audience. What colour should I paint it? Why?

You'll have finished your topic already only after you should , logically have stopped talking. And I think you'll have made a few friends.

Here are some random thoughts but bear in mind that unless the content is good it really doesn't matter what the topic is!

I think a speech about chocolate could be interesting!

You could do something bizaar like my review on the book "tea making for dummies"

Or a speech on unusual girls and boys names and their origins.

Or "under my bed I found"

How about the pros and cons of a great sportscar, or why a public beach should be open to certain sports, or why they should build a new skate park in your area.
