Love is that warm glow that you feel when you are with the person, You want to touch and embrace and hang on their every word and you want to be intimate with them. Lust is when you look at the person and you don't care what they have to say or what they plan to do, you just want to have that physical contact with them and satisfy your sexual urges. After that's done, you're quite happy for them to go away till next time.

If it is lust you will think of sex with them all the time. If it is love you will worry about likes and dislikes, what you can do besides sex when together and if the other one feels the same toward you. Most time with lust their feelings don't really matter as long as they still keep up the sex.
