I'm afraid that it would not be good for the temperatures to be 20-23 degrees C around the world so that it would be the same. But I understand how you feel.
Why wouldn't that be good?
The Earth has two ice caps. One at each poll. Without that many vital aspects that sustain life here on Earth would be lost. Colder air would not allow for condensation of water allowing for rainfall to fall as fresh water to allow plants to grow. Thus, animals that eat plants as food would not exist. Sense Man eats both plants and animals we would not exist.
And that is the short explanation.
The temperatures you gave - 20-23 C - would be nice yes. But, the changes are necessary for vital existances that would be too numerous to mention here.
And where would be the fun in jumping into a cool pool when its hot and water fun? Where would building a snowman in the snows that SOMETIMES come in the Winter (depending on where you live) be without the cold?
Looking at the days when it rains and it is less than perfect how many times have you found something special? A warm bowl of soup from a loved one or a friend, a little conversation with family or spouse, a game of cards?
If we looked at life as "perfection" we would have to look at our own physical and emotional needs. Everyone must have a little rain to grow, a little sun to glow, and cold to refresh the body, mind, and spirit on those days when it is hot and humid.
Sincerely,
Brian R Cross.

Temperatures are different around the world because of ocean currents, mountain ranges, deserts and wind currents. Then there is the fact of the earth spinning on its axis and don't forget the moon. Some humans are happiest when living in their ideal temperature range and will choose an area for that reason, rather than family or employment or any other reason. Earth would be dull and lots of creatures, plants and insects would be extint if we had the constant temperature of 20-23 degrees C.

Different parts of the earth receive different amounts of energy from the sun.
The environment also has an effect. Coastal areas have less variation in temperature because the ocean absorbs or releases energy. Since there is so much water it keeps variations on the coast lower.
Altitude also plays a factor. The higher you go up in altitude the lower the temperature goes.

the earths axis is tilted so that we can have seasons. since the earth is round certain areas( south and north ) are cold and other places like on the equator are very warm.also the ocean currents can affect climate. that is why the east coast was 70 degrees in the winter for a week, because el nino disrupted the currents .

The difference in temperature is due to many factors such as latitude(Inclination of sun' rays at that particular place), altitude,Land and sea distribution,Nearness to the sea, prevailing winds, slope of the ground ,nature of soil etc.

In some places the sun shines it the most, like the equator. But the poles are places that the sun almost can't shine it.

the axis lies on angle, thus causing the rays of the sun to reach different places much easier and thus causing them to be much warmer or colder
