I have a fav. pair of jeans but the knees have holes in them from when I did it back in the day when that style was in. What would you think about me wearing them now, fashion disaster? or wear them anyways ?

I say wear them girl. I love jeans. I have over 50 pair of jeans of different styles. I have these one pair of jeans that I had for 5 years and they are ripped everywhere now , i still wear them, i love them, they are comfortable. I dont think its a fashion disaster because thats what fashion is all about being unique.

...there are those who love the torn/ripped jeans look, and those who don't.
The key-word here is 'fav'. As in, it is your favorite pair of jeans. I believe you should be free to wear whatever you want, irregardless of whether or not it is still in fashion. Mind you, if you wanted to bring back the 80's (big-hair, and banana-yellow tights), I might have some concerns.
I mix/match freely. American Eagle jeans (no tears), a Banana Republic suit-jacket, and a Calvin Klein pull-over. When it comes to clothing/fashion, it all depends on how you perceive yourself.
Are you feeling more of a chic/modern look? Its what you feel you want.
...so, if you want to keep wearing your jeans, go for it.

For me, it would be a fashion disaster. But, if you really wanted to, you could wear the jeans, I mean, don't worry about what other people think.

Depends on where the rip is. I say wear them....if you want to add a sexy flair...wear fishnet stockings under them. And as for patching if they are favorite jeans...why would you patch them...the whole point of favorite jeans is that we wear them to be comfortable...it isn't to make anyone other than ourselves happy that we keep them in our wardrobe. I personally have about 4 pairs of them lovingly shredded over the last decade and I woundn't part with any of them for all the new pairs of jeans in the world. I do have one pair I patched up...I made the patches cover most of the jeans and made them out of pieces of multicolored suede and leather. They are truly wearable art now!

Wear what you like.....
but fashion wise........ if the holes in your jeans are big.... then i would say toss them out.... if they're just little holes or something that wouldn't look horrible ...then wear them......... however ..wearing torn jeans with the right kind of top looks good on certain people.... wear like a sweatshirt or a 3/4 sleeve shirt .................. i hope this helps!

I would wear em ripped jeans is kinda in style there like Christine Doylces Destroyed jeans. I think there quite trendy nowa days. Thats just me though...

My nephew worked at Ambercrombie and Fitch where a pair of ripped jeans he got with his discount were 40$ regularly 70$. Definately ok. Don't throw away you can get good money for them LOL.

You can wear them as long as you look confident in them. You can also try to add little accessories like maybe a cute belt or a colorful skirt over it. (in spring/summer).
They are not completely out of style, but you can personalize them and make them look more like something from recent magazines. I love turning something old into something totally new and pretty!

well they're going out pretty slowly.. a lot of teenagers still wear them, and they're big with the preppy hollister/abercrombie crowd.. but still, they don't have that many anymore.. so if i had to give a solid answer, i'd say bad... don't buy another pair, you'd just be wasting your money. i guess you could wear them once in a while, but they're pretty out.
