I have a virgin mobile prepaid cell phone, i really love it. it has prepaid cards that range from 15-100 all inbetween, its really great, and the customer service is terrific!! Im really sastified with my cell.

I use a TracFone. The phone alone cost about 19 dollars, and then you have to buy a phone card for it. The phone cards are 20 dollars for 60 minute, and then there are other phone cards that cost a bit more for more minutes. (these minutes roll over to the next month if you don't use them all up).

This phone is really good for me, beacuse I do not walk around with a phone glued to my ear. I only use it when I need it. I take it out of the house with me everytime I leave, just in case I have an emergency or accident.

If I need to make a real phone call and talk to soemone, I do it from my house phone.

$20 for the phone and $90 buys you 500 minutes of usage that doesn't expire for a year.

i'll stick to Vodafone and my crappy Motorola E398 (and the Motorola V3 razr which i havent removed the sim lock from telstra yet)

i find its worth it if you make heaps of calls etc as you can top up for little money and get heaps of call time
ie: $49 with vodafone gets you $230 of prepaid calls/txt etc

depends on the company who can offer cheapy prepaid with good phones
