My position on those issues is that I don't agree with a gay, or lesbian lifestyle. However, I also believe that every person has a right to happiness, a chance to earn a living in their chosen profession, & a chance to be a contributing member of our society no matter what their lifestyle choices are.

Same sex is kind of a harsh clinicalized title for gay people.
we prefer these days to be called gays or queers. surprisingly enough. homosexual is a title used by psychiatrists and it generally means or points to the option of a cure. related to being gay. there are so many gay issues. especially when you live in a state that does not recognize your union. I live in Canada and I have a rainbow flag---the symbol of gay pride unity. We are allowed to marry here. but in the US it is still semi-illegal.
plus there are issues relating to the gay community that go untalked about. like crystal meth use by young gays, old gays retirement homes issues, poverty in the gay community. Aids, and people starving with aids. One thing I noticed is that the USA televises gay pride marches while Canada does not. Our corporate media does not support this and we get no coverage of gay pride festivals. I think everyone needs to open their minds from this right wing thinktank that has been running the globe.

I don't think there is anything wrong with that.

I think it's terrible when a gay man pretends to be heterosexual and marries a heterosexual woman. It would be better if gay people could be accepted for who they are, instead of gay people feeling ashamed and choose to lie and pretend to be something they are not. They are letting themselves and their spouse down. Everyone deserves someone that truly loves them and are sexually attracted to them.

I feel the same way if a gay woman marries a heterosexual man. Both situations are equally sad for all involved and many people get hurt with lies and deception. Especially if there are affairs and children are involved.

The world would be a much better place if we could accept all people regardless of sexual orientation.

Um...I guess I feel a bit sorry for people who are gay, because of not being able to have a child with the person they love, increased risk of disease (for men), and cultural issues.
On the other hand, the idea of sex between two men does have a certain kinky appeal...

I feel that people can have any sexual orientation they want, marry anyone they want, and not be discriminated against. After all, about 10% of the population is gay.

Unless this matter is thrown in my face, interrupts my paychecks, or changes my station in life, I don't care about it one way or the other.
