I think they just trying to be popular and "fit in." Girls can look just as good if they don't buy their clothes from there. Hopefully when they are adults they will realize just how dumb it is. And in regards to a previous poster saying "It's ugly when people who are 120 pounds wear them" do you expect every middle schooler to be 5'3 or less? When I was in middle school I was 5"8 and 125. And fairly small, I have to say.

Well, seeing as I've VERY rarely EVER seen a girl wear it who isn't trying to be popular and just wears it because she likes it, I think of an annoying preppy girl thinking that she can be popular with the clothes, even though she's going to look back on her life in school and wish that she could of enjoyed it instead of wasted her time buying stupid expensive clothes that you can buy at other stores for a lot cheaper prices.

I'm actually disturbed by all the young girls who all walk around the mall in their overprice Hollister and A & F crap, a Coach bag slung over their shoulder, looking like every other teen girl. Why does everyone want to be just like everyone else? These girls look like they're wearing the official uniform for girls aged 14-18. How about trying some individuality for a change? How about trying to be a trend SETTER and not a trend FOLLOWER?

Yeah I see a lot of teenagers that wear that stuff. I personally dont see anthing wrong with it. They are nice clothes, and if they are willing to pay the money. I mean I have a bunch of America Eagle polos and I am 26.

The only one of those stores around here is American Eagle, people wear it because they don't want to stand out by being original I suppose.

Hmmm...poser, spoiled, prep, a whole long list.
Why not buy something made in your hometown, rather than supposrting sweatshops in Africa, slave shops in China, and completely stupid trends.
and about that other oerson about us who said that people over 120 pounds are ugly, you are soo damn mistaken. Incase you can;t comtemplate this in your tiny mind, there are people of all shapes and sizes, who are BEAUTIFUL! more beautiful than an anorexic ditz. I happen to be 5' 8", and if i weighed 120 pounds i would be dead. SO before you open your scrawny, spoiled, uninformed mouth, think about what it is that you're conveying to other people.

They wear the name brands because they are willing to pay the money for them... i shop at those stores when i have the money for them.. their clothes fit right and are very comfy.. just because someone walks around sporting name brands doesnt mean they are rich and snobby.. it just shows the were willing to pay 50 bucks for a pair of jeans.. theres really not a problem with it.. and if anyone thinks its messed up that so many teens walk around wearing name brands than its there own problem.. teens dont wear them to show their status or how snobby they are they wear them to be comfy..

They are usually snobs, like that one person who answered this question. Ohh, I think of "me". I think of snobby rich people that waste so much money on stupid clothes that they usually grow out of soon. It's okay sometimes, but when they wear it all the time...omg.
