I had a car accident a few years ago, and my precious little Toyota was totaled. My boss suggested one of the guys at work find a Tupperware bin, put a slot in the lid, and call it Pennies for my new car. Not only did people leave rolls of pennies, but then 5's, 10's, and 20's too. Two people handed me envelopes in private, and one anonymous person left me $100 in my desk. When all was said and done, I was able to buy a newer used Toyota, much like my beloved previous one, with cash. I've never been so grateful or touched...

A very deer friend of mine is getting a divorce. She's lost everything. Scumbag has a really good lawyer. Home, money, car, even her cell phone. From nine AM when she called me until just recently, I've been no more than a couple inches away from her taking care of her. She's asleep on my couch right now. My girlfriend hasn't come home from work yet and will have quite the shocker to come home to but we three will get along for as long as we have to.

Lots, some have even as simple as a nice hotel person helping me out. Smiles go a long way these days.

When I have extra cash i pay for the person behind me in a drive through.. If I see an elderly person in the grocery store i try to buy their groceries.

I've bought several tanks of gas over the years for little old ladies after I pumped the gas for them.

I volunteer at Car Seat Checks. I help install the car seats in cars for other people.

I once paid a BIG vet bill for a complete stranger's dog-- If he didn't get treatment, he would have died of parvo & his owner could not afford it.... I checked back & he made it!
