why here? surely it's a better question for religion and spirituality? hehe...

I'll give you a few pointers, using myself as an example. 10 years ago I thought that it was okay - even "cool" to lose it every now and again. I was given to understand that it was NOT at all okay and that i was damaging my health and the well-being of those around me, not only the person with whom I had a problem.

So I actively decided to do something about it. It's come about through a fair few books on Buddhism and learning that there is a way of being in the world where you realise that we are connected to every other thing on the planet.

Once you come to this place, you'll quickly understand that if you're angry, everyone around you is profoundly affected by it too. It's quite simply an unhealthy and very negative emotion.

You have to look at what is "pressing your buttons" and ask yourself why this makes you angry. If it's a relationship, then you need to examine your motivations for being with that person. If it's another person or situation, once again - examine it and question what is setting you off. Once you've completed this examination, look at other ways to be with that person or situation. Look at what else you can do...things that will result in a good situation occuring.

Don't "blame" people for "making" you angry - you're the one responsible for this emotion, so it's up to you to change the way that you respond! Let it go...that's the easiest way!

Another way to look at anger is to see that your "comfort zone" is being squeezed by someone or something. You're happy when this zone is where you want it - angry when it's too close. see what actions you can take - from a stance of Loving Kindness - that will get your comfort zone back to where it should be.

phew!
Hope this helps! any more words that you think i might be able to offer, drop me a line....

Love and Light,

Jarrah

take it easy & pray, don't be too carried away with your anger, think or do something that can makes you happy or just go somewhere fun.
