Not while searching, but you must be aware that people can be downloading from your computer too, which slows your internet down alot. Usually my internet lags only when Limewire starts up, and when connection becomes 'turbo' its all ok again.

limewire has been very slow at the starts of searching. mine always says i have a very strong connection which doesn't seem to matter. it takes awhile before it displays any results. this seems to be a normal thing that happens when either they are about to get shut down like kazza lite did when i had it or they are trying to force people to pay for it. they might have made the software, but we are the users and the "peers" that own the info that we share with others.

No, try refreshing your connection by unplugging and re-plugging equipment or clicking on repair under the connection wizard. You must have an excellent/good connection for limewire to work.

I find I also have this problem, but I have yet to figure out what exactly is causing it. MY guess it is a latency issue.

ya... i too have the same problem......it will display many results only if an ultrapeer is connected to your network.
