Yes it is most likely asthma
Your mom had it so family tendency
Second you wheeze a lot after exercise, wheeze can be a sign of asthma, unless you are a heavy smoker than that an be the cause.
The rapid pulse has to do with the fact you are exercising but if you have less oxygen because of the constricted airflow in the lungs the heart will work harder and increase the pulse.
Dizziness can be related as well or the cause can be from other problems like not eating enough, low iron, low blood sugars

Yes, it's very possible, especially if your mom had asthma. I get the same symptoms and MY mom has asthma too. I think you should see a doctor and tell him the same things.
Edit: I noticed someone said asthma isn't hereditary. It's NOT. But the TENDENCY to develop asthma is generally believed to be! So there you go. :3

it sounds as if you might have asthsma but it could be brunacle asthsma thats what i have and i have all the symptoms you do... its not anything to really worry about but you should talk to your doc about it and see what he says...it could be something worse then asthsma you never know.. your best bet is to get it looked after by someone who knows more about it.

It's quite possible you may have exercise-induced asthma. You do have a lot of the symptoms. Your best bet would be to visit your regular doctor. He may give you an inhaler to use before you exercise to relieve your symptoms. Or, he may refer you to a pulmonologist if the symptoms persist. The only diagnostic test for asthma is called a methacholine challenge test, and it is administered by a pulmonary function technologist and interpreted by a pulmonologist.

Here's the real question - why haven't you asked this of your doctor?
Only a doctor can diagnose and only a doctor can prescribe. Stoly risking your life and see your doctor.
