Two solid days of 'obsessing' with Anna Nicole Smith?
Jeez!
And isn't it strange how the would-be 'fathers' are now crawling out of the woodwork?
Let the woman rest in peace, for God's sake!

Unfortunately all of the news channels have coverage of the story, and it's on 24/7. It's news and it's a sad story...but I think they should back off a bit from the constant coverage. Out of the cast of various, "baby daddy's"...Larry Birkhead had already long filed his case before her death, and her attorney, Howard K. Stern also laid claim to fathering the child shortly after her birth....but I feel it should be a private matter between them and not for public display and turned into a media circus. As for the gold digging hubby of Zsa Zsa, he's no more a prince than Rin Tin Tin. He's an attention seeking fame whore who needs to be castrated with a dull, rusty spoon and be sent back to Germany and locked up in an old folks home where he can have lot's of jello crammed in that mouth to shut his yap! How disgusting is he?

Yes, I agree...let her rest in peace!

There are two answers I can imagine. The first is the obsession with celebrity. Entertainment news spreads more quickly among people than political stories because people find it much more interesting. Smith was a magnet for the tabloids, and still is. The second, and more cynical, answer is that it is easy news. No research, no time wasted in finding difficult sources (as there are many to interview, as demonstrated my Larry King), and the line of questioning is straightforward and uncritical. In other words, the saturation of this story makes for very efficient use of a news organization's resources.

All the major networks and entertainment shows are "obsessing" on Anna Nicole Smith. Next, it will be a movie of the week on her life.

They are covering her because she had big jugs. I mean her boobs were huge. I mean, I wanted to squeeze 'em. Mama!
