I agree completely. I am sorry that she as a "human" died, but could care less that she just happens to be "Anna Nicole Smith." What did she do for this country.... NOTHING but sucker some old man out of his money, all she wanted was attention her entire life. The real concern should be for them men and women in uniform... over there dieing for there country.... oh wait there not famous and millionaires are they? who cares about them? WRONG they are more valuable than ANY celebrity!

No. the hot President, if predisposed to withdraw the troops, would be quietly study the information of existence at the back of closed doors and could finally end up retaining the troops there. as long as they are allowed to kill the enemy with severe prejudice, they could be stored there. And it incredibly is no longer an occupation. If it have been, we would have our very own government in potential, drag out any Cleric who demands violence, and could be summarily executing each "rebellion" we captured. you keep asking the comparable question the different day. you keep getting the comparable answer. At what element will YOU get it?

a bit of a tricky and emotional question. every death counts -- and it is not the "whole USA" that is talking about Nicole. some do talk, other listen -- most of us read. now as to the second part of your question -- true there were recent deaths in Iraq -- and ongoing very sad event --people get accustomed to "death" news -- specially coming out of Iraq. Prayers and condolences should follow -- talking does not much good. Except to praise the courage of these young lives who fight so that we can live in a free world.

It boggles the mind quite honestly. This stupid, gold digging bimbo did nothing worthwhile in her life, yet the media is talking about her as if she were Princess Diana or something. If it were up to me, there would have been zerio media attention. Her lifeless corpse would have been put in a bag, taken to the morgue, then dumped in the ground somewhere. Maybe she'd have a line or two of roling text like CNN Headline News has al lthe time, but that's all. Thank God she's dead. One less cancer on our planet! Now if only something would come along and take Paris HIlton's life.

because they figure that they will try and not let the american people know the real extent of how things are going in Iraq the news of Anna Nicole Smith helps to take away from the importance of more american lives lost as she was a celeb and you know how we americans idolize our celebs

I'm sorry. Good point. I think of our troops everyday. I am both proud of, and humbled by, the magnitude of the fighting they are faced with on a daily basis and my sympathies lie squarely with their loved ones without doubt.

But, I didn't dislike them or, have to watch them self-destruct via years of media attention.

the country is war-weary; a country that loves its military and prays for their safety, but is now questioning what are they doing over there. Ms. Smith is distraction among others.

It's amazing how this story will almost get the same publicity as 9-11. It's a shame. Give it up already.
