People always hate/fear that which they do not understand or are ignorant of. Why do you think prejudice still exists? It's easier to hate/fear something rather than try to understand it or put forth effort. Far easier to sit in your little ignorant world than to admit there are others out there more educated or informed. Einstein himself said, when confronted about his interest in astrology (and by the way, Carl Jung also used it) "Do not speak to me of Astrology. For I have studied it, you have not!

I love astrology! I read it for laughs in the newspaper! I'm a Gemini and my element is air. I don't believe in it, but I don't hate on people who do. Several of my friends believe in astrology whole-heartedly, so I couldn't be mean to them!

I agree 100%.
Why would they go out of their way to the Horoscopes section and jump all over every question unless they were just a teeennnsy bit curious about it? Are they being defensive? In denial? Embarrassed? It's like the ten-year-old boy being mean to the girl he likes...

I don't think you can stop those who hate Astrology as opposed to those who just don't believe in it. Once again I think you'll find most of them are fundamentalist Christians who hate everything not fundamentalist Christian. I admit I hate them too. Astrology is my "religion" of choice. I guess we all have our prejudices.

I think most of the haters hate us(astrology) because their religion teaches them to hate us....which is irony in itself.
It's one thing not to believe in astrology, but its another to think its demonic...thats pretty closed minded.
Those same people- imagine what they'd say if I (or we) started attacking what they believe in...?
They probably call us demonic again.

i lover it when people ask me to prove to them that astrology works i have a quick comeback. prove to me it dosen't they are normally stumped after that one

its not that they don't like it, they just don't understand it, but i think they must be secretly interested otherwise they wouldn't look at the horoscope section at all
