Title: Through Glass

I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has past
Oh, God it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you
That forever feels like home
Sitting all alone inside your head

How do you feel?
That is the question
But I forget
You don't expect an easy answer

When something like a soul
Becomes initialized
And folded up like paper dolls and little notes
You can't expect the bitter folks
And while your outside looking in
Describing what you see
Remember what your staring at is me

Cause' I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has past
All I know is that it feels like forever
And no one ever tells you
That forever feels like home
Sitting all alone inside your head

How much is real
So much to question
An epidemic of the mannequins
Contaminating everything
And if that came from the heart
It never did, right from the start
Just listen to the noises(Now I'm more, instead of voices)

Before You tell yourself
It's just a different scene
Remember it's just different from what you've seen

I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has past
Now all I know is that feels like forever
And no one ever tells you
That forever feels like home
Sitting all alone inside your head

Cause' I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has past
Now all I know is that it feels like forever
And no one ever tells you
That forever feels like home
Sitting all alone inside your head

And it's the stars... the stars... that shine for you
And it's the stars... the stars... that lie to you

I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has past
Oh, God it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you
That forever feels like home
Sitting all alone inside your head

Cause' I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has past
All I know is that it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you
That forever feels like home
Sitting all alone inside your head

And it's the stars... the stars... that shine for you
And it's the stars... the stars... that lie to you
And it's the stars... the stars... that shine for you
And it's the stars... the stars... that lie to you

Oh, when the stars... Oh, when the stars... they lie

It's about a man in prison and you know how when you are on those phone things looking through the glass at a loved one..he's describing that..

well using the music video, i think its about stars (celebrities) that "shine and lie" and how we see them constantly on tv (through the glass.) The music video sorta implys how two dementional they are and how they are just a pretty face.

just what i think

I think it's about looking at yourself from a different point of view, NOT about him being a peeping-tom.

One thing I've noticed about songs, ones i write and ones that others write, is that it means something different for everyone who reads them. it just depends on what your mood is, what kind of situation you're in, who you know, what you know and all of those kind of things, whatever this song means to you...there ya go, thats the meaning
