In the Florida-Kentucky basketball game, all the Kentucky fans have either Blue shirts with "T's" on them or white shirts with "A's" on them. Can anyone explain the significance

I suspect they are part of a stunt by the cheerleaders in which one side of the arena will yell "C" (with these fans wearing T-shirts with the letter "C" on them), then, in succession, the next side of the arena will yell "A" (and not coincidentally, they'll be wearing "A" shirts), followed by "T" and "S" -- thus spelling "CATS."

I live in KY so I will help you out.

Some shirts have A's and T's. while others have S's and C's

This obviously spells out C-A-T-S which is short for wildcats, the UK mascot
