In my opinion, no. True emos hold everything inside, unlike the poser emos that wander around in their "emo" clothes (which are undeniably preppy) and cut their wrists only while people are watching.

no. Emo as a style and emo as an emotional state are different. You do not have to have an emo style to be "emo" in the emotional connotation.

why everything close to sad feelings is associated with the term emo now, so you dont have to look emo, its just a plus, personally i think its stupid tho

no not at all there are prep emo's jock emo's they just hide it under thier abercrombie clothes and perfume

IF ITS LIKE ALL PINK TOTALLY NO
BUT IF IT HAS A FAIR AMOUNT OF BLACK BUT MOSTLY BLACK THEN YEAH BUT IT REALLY MATTERS ON WHAT YOU WEAR, HOW YOU WEAR IT AND HOW IT LOOKS.
