You should go to a doctor. it could be more than just a twisted ankle. you may have pulled a mucle or tendon. and it isn't healthy to EAT tylonol or any pain medication for a long period of time. if you read the bottle it will tell you that. you should go to the doctor to make sure it isnt any more serious.

I badly sprained my ankle about 3 weeks ago. I was in a hurry going down the stairs, lost my balance and landed on a bad side of my left foot, causing my left ankle to be stretched going on the inside. The first 48 hours were excruciating and the pain was un-believable. I've never had a serious ankle injury before.

So I immediately treated it using the RICE method. The following day, the bruising and swelling were so horrible. I found out that I got a second degree sprain and immediately panicked after that. I had a football game on that week and it been looking forward to it because I've been training for rt. I had teammates that had similar injuries and it took them months to fully recover, some of them stopped playing altogether. So I kinda had a short-term depression because I can't imagine myself not being able to run and play sports anymore.

Because I was so desperate to recover again, I contacted a lot of people that I know who do sports and asked them if they had similar injuries. One friend of mine, from the boy's football team in my university, told me about H.E.M. Ankle Rehab. I got a copy 4 days after I got injured. I immediately read and followed what was instructed and felt improvement on the first day. I was able to walk a bit, but I was in pain.

A couple of days after that, the swelling and bruising were subsid-ing significantly and on the fourth day, I was walking comfortably again. Although I've had felt a bit of stiffness, I continued doing what was instructed. My sister was surprised that I have recovered this fast. I told her about this book and was shocked on how effective the procedures were. I'm just so happy that this book was shared to me and how effective it is.

Heal your ankle fully & fast?

I got a very bad ankle twist doing a sword spin in kung fu that made my ankle do almost a 180. It drove me crazy but it helps to ice it, get a let brace and most of all DO NOT GET BACK TO BASKETBALL TO EARLY I reinjured myself so many times its insane. I would recomend and least 2 months because alot of the time it feels healed and really isnt and then you end up reinjuring it. Try to find a way to train while not putting stress on your ankle.

Sprained ankles can hurt alot and can take longer to heal than a fracture. If just takes time.I would not call this a serious injury. Ibuprofen works better than Tylenol.

i think sorry for that youngster. That kinda jogs my memory of something... there became this time while i became enjoying on the park sometime in the past. So this one guy became shooting a three and that i attempted to dam his shot, yet as a substitute we the two collide in mid-air and that i knocked him down on his back, hitting his head on the concrete floor, which knocked him out chilly. i don't understand what befell to him after his pals took him to the well-being middle. I in no way have been given see that youngster play returned and that i nevertheless experience in charge approximately it. The worst harm I ever have been given became a fractured ankle. could no longer walk or play for sort of three months. BQ: You tell me.

I would check with a doctor to make sureit's not a sprain or fracture. While I'd be the first guy to tape it up and play on it, you don't want to make it worse, so get it checked and get back on the court as soon as you can.

Switch between hot and cold and keep it elevated. Otherwise, stay off it and at if you have to walk, at least wrap it heavily and tightly.
